What I have learned so far:
Well, about a month ago I injured myself in the gym trying to make some more gains. I had severe headaches for a week and I finally decided to head to the hospital. I took some CT scans of my brain and the doctors said they seen nothing wrong. They had me worried that I might have gotten an aneurysm in my head(swollen artery that can burst and bleed out) . The other explanation was that I sprained some muscles that are in the back of the head and can take weeks to heal. Today has been a month and I haven't been feeling any headaches. So I decided to go to the gym today and test out my head. I worked out twice today, 1 hour after school and another hour at about 5 pm. I was headache free! Hopefully it stays this way and with this experience I've learned what I had done wrong that injured me. It is very important where your head is angled while doing pull ups! What made it worse is that I like to hold my breath while exerting the weight which causes a spike in your blood pressure (which can be dangerous) but now that I learned the hard way, I'm back in business into making the stronger version of myself.

Blog 6 - Second Interview Preparation
1. My mentor is a coach that works for a middle school. (I plan on getting other mentors for more experience)
2. The questions I will be asking are:
- What made you want to coach the young ones?
- Do you have relatives that are also active/into sports?
- Do you try to train the kids with different routines or keep it constant?
- what do you look for to find the best team?
- How many championships have you won?

Blog 5 - Mentorship Reflection
1. I have found a mentor but I start working with her Thursday. It's a great experience especially since she lets me go in the gym without a membership and also, she is going to have a personal trainer that works there be another mentor for me. This experience made me realize that the more people I communicate with, will lead me to other helpful people.
2. The most important article I have read so far would probably have been the mind fitness one. I didn't really think much of it but my mentor was telling me about how fitness can be for the mind not just the body. So that article is the most important to me so far since I have heard it from someone else as well.

The Gym
I'm going to be doing my mentorship at the gym I attend Fitness19. I'm going to work with a personal trainer and see if I can get other mentors as well to get as much experience as possible. I haven't started because they have been busy but I will soon and for now I'm working out there. The Fitness 19 gym is pretty small but it gets my gains going. I will probably be with a P.E teacher at another school as well.

2. Contact name & number
Central Care Physical Therapy: 909-590-7997
3. Questions raised:
Did she expect her job to be the way it is?
Why did she want to be a physical therapist?
Is the job worth what she worked for?
What is her belief in fitness or exercise.
4. From my experience there at the place, it made me think twice about becoming a physical therapist because I had conversations with the PTAs and they said that it's not really that fun having to massage people (most of the people being old) and it was a bit boring.
5. I want my senior topic to be fitness because that's one of the reasons why I chose physical therapy and I'm really fascinated by working out and exercising. I think fitness is a way to become a stronger version of yourself physically and mentally.
